Linde Gas Therapeutics is a global pharmaceutical gas company with a focus on applying gas enabled technology in order to find innovative ways of improving healthcare. HMI, along with the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden and Linde Gas Therapeutics, is sponsoring the GEMI (Gas Enabled Medical Innovations) Fund to help achieve the goal of developing new and innovative research that addresses clinical use of gases relating to the treatment, prevention or diagnosis of diseases. The first GEMI Fund awards were distributed in 2003.
