Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) joined with Harvard Medical International and Harvard Medical School to create the Dubai Harvard Foundation for Medical Research. Its purpose is to support post-doctoral training and research programs, as well as collaborative research programs between research centers at Harvard Medical School and their counterparts throughout the Middle East region. The Foundation will be the mechanism which attracts philanthropy as well as private and governmental funding for developing leaders in science and medicine in the region.
