PHMI Receptionist will greet PHMI visitors and is responsible for answering PHMI's main telephone lines in addition to providing administrative support services such as photocopying, ordering supplies, and arranging meeting logistics. The PHMI Receptionist is located in PHMI's main entrance and works in conjunction with another Receptionist. The PHMI Receptionist is responsible for greeting PHMI visitors and answering the PHMI main telephone lines; coordinating meeting logistics, such as room set-up and break-down; arranging food service and transportation for meetings; responding to information requests from PHMI clients; triaging deliveries and orienting visitors; processing mail (sorting incoming and posting outgoing); scanning and filing documents; and general administrative duties (photocopies, faxes, data entry, etc). PHMI Employment Opportunities in Dubai
PHMI is seeking applications for challenging leadership positions with the Center for Healthcare Planning and Quality (CPQ) and the Harvard Medical School Dubai Center (HMSDC) Institute for Postgraduate Education and Research. CPQ -- in conjunction with other clinical governance entities -- serves as the regulatory arm of DHCC, utilizing internationally recognized leaders in healthcare quality who provide support for continuous quality improvement among the clinical operators in DHCC. HMSDC was established to foster the professional development of physicians, nurses, research scientists, and allied health professionals in the Gulf Region. All of the positions identified below are based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
CPQ Director of Clinical Planning will lead the CPQ’s Planning Department with responsibility for the development and execution of clinical planning activities for DHCC. The Director’s responsibilities include monitoring -- in conjunction with the DHCC Planning Council – the DHCC’s tenant composition to ensure an appropriate mix of primary, secondary and tertiary care facilities and providing high level advice to support the development and implementation of rules and polices. Applicants should have a graduate degree in a healthcare-related field with ten plus years of progressively responsible experience in the planning, development and management of healthcare networks, facilities or campuses. Demonstrated experience in healthcare planning with proven success in plan development and execution is preferred as is international working experience.
CPQ Director of Informatics will lead the CPQ’s Informatics Department with responsibility for managing the medical informatics programs in DHCC. The Director’s responsibilities include facilitating the efficient use of information technology throughout DHCC to promote high quality medical care and patient, provider and staff satisfaction; facilitating the development of an electronic health record for DHCC; and developing and managing the health statistics function. Applicants should have a graduate degree in a healthcare-related field with ten plus years of progressively responsible experience in the planning, development and implementation of informatics in healthcare organizations. A strong knowledge of records information management, ICD and CPT coding is preferred as is international work experience.
HMSDC Manager, Postgraduate Medical Education will have responsibility for the fiscal, personnel, operational, faculty and planning of PGME activities (residencies and fellowships) at DHCC. The Manager’s responsibilities include playing a primary role with the HMSDC Director of Education and the HMSDC Chief Academic Officer (CAO) in designing and establishing the postgraduate training opportunities; creating educational standards and regulations; and designing student/fellow recruitment and selection strategies and processes. Applicants should have a minimum of a Bachelors degree with seven years of progressively responsible related experience in the management of postgraduate medical education programs. A Masters degree in higher education or related fields is preferred as is international work experience.
