Riaz Adamjee, ScM
Director of Oversight Operations, Dubai Healthcare City Program

Mr. Adamjee joined PHMI in July 2003 as a member of the initial Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) team. In his current role, Mr. Adamjee serves as the Client Executive responsible for the day-to-day DHCC relationship including responsibility for the oversight of operations and programs related to DHCC. Mr. Adamjee is a member of the DHCC Standards Council and sits on the DHCC Planning Council and the DHCC Quality Council. He serves as the PHMI lead on the core team that has developed and is updating key DHCC regulations and rules. Mr. Adamjee is a member of the Global Programs group at PHMI and also served as the Client Executive on the University Hospital project in Dubai.

Prior to joining PHMI, Mr. Adamjee served as a senior management consultant and
client partner leading the Boston and Chicago offi ces of divine/Viant. While at Molecular, divine/Viant, CSC Index and Symmetrix., he specialized in the areas of business strategy, technology strategy, operations and implementation, business process redesign and process reengineering and new product design and development. In addition, Mr. Adamjee served as a program manager and engineer overseeing a joint program with Children’s Hospital, Boston and Digital Equipment Corporation to develop new speech technologies and other assistive devices for disabled children and adults.

Mr. Adamjee received his Sc.B in Engineering from MIT and his Sc.M. in Management from MIT Sloan School. His programmatic experience has primarily been in Pakistan, Tanzania, United Kingdom, United States, and the United Arab Emirates.
