Joining the organization in 2003 as a Program Coordinator, Michael, in collaboration with PHMI senior leadership and client executives, has overseen PHMI partnerships with clients working on nursing and physician professional development, hospital management and operations issues, quality management initiatives and facility design programs. Michael provides focused and tailored administrative, financial, operational, and programmatic management support to further the objectives and goals of PHMI’s long-term international clients. He has collaborative working experience in China, Turkey, Greece, India, Thailand, Korea, Indonesia and Italy.
Since its creation in 2006, Michael has coordinated and facilitated management of the PHMI China Office staff with the Boston home and serves as Acting Representative of the Beijing office.
Michael also works closely with PHMI leadership, staff and prospective clients as part of the new business development team.
Prior to joining PHMI, Michael managed a grant program in sub-Saharan African countries for 10 years at a non-profit human rights organization in Washington, DC and previously worked as a legislative aide in the United States Senate.
